Gardens Galore

I've decided that actually trying to accomplish dreams is waaaayyy better than just thinking about them. One of my most recent dreams was to start and garden in the city of Hopkins, where I live, in the community garden plots that they have in the city. I wanted to be able to meet people in our community and learn how to do a skill that I have been dreaming about for a while. So far I enjoy it immensly. I have been able to meet people, and I'm slowly learning what it means to garden. Apparently watering plants is an essential part to the whole gardening experience. They don't have any city water in the park, but there is a little stream that flows next to all the gardens. I bought a 5 gallon bucket that works perfectly for hauling water. 20 gallons later my garden is watered. I have only planted a few things so far. I'm going to plant little amounts of everything and see how they turn out. I planted tomatos, cucumbers, broccoli, lettuce, radishes, onions, and sweet corn. I will keep every one "posted" HA! and hopefully I'll be able to take some pictures and post them!!
