What?! Power made perfect through weakness???

I've started my downtown job. Man alive what a change. Spending 8 hours, working in a cubicle where I can't see a window, is a big change from working thigh deep in water at mosquito control.

This week I have learned a lot of the buisness world that I have never known. It has forced me into a place far beyond my comfort level. It is a huge change but I am learning. I love taking the bus everyday, and I really like working downtown. I'm sure I'll get used to the office work as well. I certainly have found out what "Networking Mutual Funds" actually is, and I'm slowing learning how to network them. My job basically entails handling people's requests to change things in there mutual fund accounts and I make sure that they are allowed to make changes, and that we are allowed to make the changes for them.

I have really had this verse on my heart all week. I have to remember that God knows what's best and always will

"But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me." 2 Corinthians 12:9

I'm off to bed. Tomorrow is Saturday....glorious Saturday.

OOOH yeah, while I was in California I got to meet Uncle Leo (Len Lesser) from Seinfeld. He was also in Everybody Loves Raymond. He does this thing where he pumps his arms in the air, it's great. So I asked him if we could pump our arms together for a picture. The picture is on the right! And check out Justin and Autumn's blog ( link that says Slug Blog) they posted a fantastic video of our one and half hour trip to vegas, don't worry the video is only about one and half minutes)

Jerry...Helloooo. Just don't hold a match to Uncle Leo or Madame Teusaux might get a little angry. The first week of a job is always a little overwhelming. Once you learn the ins and outs of it, I'm sure it will be great. Peace out.
